  1. Complete the "Preparing for the Socratic Seminar" handout (page 2) that is part of the D5 READS 365 packet.  
  2. Prepare for the Socratic Seminar.  We will listen to two TED Talks in class and take notes.  Apply Animal Farm to the ideas you learn from the talks.  
  3. Be prepared to discuss this novel analytically, compare it to other texts, and write critically about it.
